Outpatient Position: 

We are a privately-owned mental health care organization in Denver providing substance abuse and mental health services to supervised criminal justice clients. Our client base consists of primarily felony offenders living in a halfway house or in the community on parole.

We are currently seeking a full time therapist and/or contract therapist. The position(s) will consist of day and evening work, conducting groups, assessments, and individual therapy, Monday through Friday.

We have a fun, collaborative, and friendly atmosphere to work in!

Master’s Degree REQUIRED and a LAC/CAS preferred. All applicants must be licensed or registered with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.

Minimum of one year criminal justice experience required (through education, training, or work experience).

As a result of the global pandemic, all services are being performed via telehealth.

COVID-19 considerations:

Jefferson County Jail Position

TITLE: Mental Health Clinician

REPORTS TO: Director of Mental Health

ROLE: We are a privately-owned mental health care organization in Denver providing substance abuse and mental health services to supervised criminal justice clients.

This position will provide mental health services in the Jefferson County Detention Facility, a 1400 bed facility with both male and female inmates. The primary role of the Mental Health Clinician is to assess inmates for risk, including suicide and homicide; evaluate and diagnose inmates for major mental illness; triage inmates appropriately based on mental health and detentions’ needs; work with a multidisciplinary team in a jail setting. There is also the opportunity to work in our outpatient offices conducting group and individual therapy with offenders living under supervision in the community (parole or community corrections). Schedule will be non-traditional Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday. We have a fun, collaborative, and positive atmosphere to work in!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in corrections and diagnosis. Provisional licenses do not meet this requirement.
